Pegasus International Tours Refund/Cancellation Policy

 

The Pegasus Tours Program is a not-for-profit activity which offers the highest quality tours at the lowest possible price.  Arranging these tours requires making financial commitments well before any tour begins, and late withdrawals from tours can cause significant losses to Pegasus Tours.  We have already made and will continue to make non-refundable deposits to the barge operator and vendor for the other international tours.  We therefore will need to implement a stricter cancellation policy.  We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to protect your investment.

1. Pegasus Bike Tours registrations are not transferable and may not be sold.

2. A cancellation made prior to the Final Payment due date will result in a $100 cancellation fee.

3. A cancellation made between the Final Payment due date and 3 months prior to the tour start will result in the loss of the tour deposit unless a replacement is found in which case you will only pay the $100 cancellation fee.

4. A cancellation any time within 90 days of the tour start date will result in the loss of your entire tour fee unless your spot is filled in which case you will only pay the $100 cancellation fee.

5. If Pegasus has to cancel the tour for any reason other than force majeure, you will receive a full refund of all tour payments made.  Please carefully read the force majeur exception in the main <Refund> tab.

6. Please make sure you fully understand the cancellation policy before you register for an international tour.
